Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity to dexamethasone or formulation components

Use With Caution

  • Active or suspected serious infection without antimicrobial coverage
  • Recent exposure to varicella or measles without immunity (seek guidance)
  • Significant immunosuppression
  • Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus
  • Peptic ulcer disease or significant gastritis
  • Hypertension or significant cardiovascular disease
  • Ocular herpes simplex
  • Glaucoma or cataracts

Pregnancy & Lactation
