Pediatric Drug Interactions with Loratadine

• CNS depressants: additive sedation (usually minimal with loratadine)
• Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole) and macrolides (e.g., erythromycin) can raise levels—usually not clinically significant but use care
• Avoid duplication with desloratadine or other daily antihistamines
